What is NU Campaign?
NU Campaign is an Israel based t-shirt brand that aims to create a global community of ambassadors for important humanitarian causes, through unique designer t-shirts. On the inside of every NU t-shirt, close to the wearers heart, a unique message about the cause is printed, so that you literally carry the story close to your heart and represent it to your world everytime you wear the shirt.
Where does the name NU come from?
NU is Hebrew (originally Yiddish) slang for 'so' or 'C'mon' and begs a response when aimed at you! As NU founder David Kramer tells, he was walking in a busy market in central Jerusalem when he couldn't help notice an old man falling to the ground. With his food parcels now scattered all over the floor, he turned to the onlooking crowd, and shouted an unforgettable 'Nuuuuuuuuu!' From then on, the name stuck and became the official brand name. It is the ultimate expression of the brand - to engage and inspire people worldwide to get involved and take action for important charitable causes!
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to almost every country worldwide! *Please note: Orders shipped outside of Israel are subject to regular customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. Regular iternational shipping takes between 3-5 weeks and EMS express shipping takes 3-5 business days ($17 per shirt.) NU Campaign doe not take any responsibility for delays in international shipping, resulting from postal services in destination countries.
Who is behind the NU Campaign?
NU Campaign is founded and directed by David Kramer and is the product of an exceptionally talented team of designers, photographers, educators and activists. The team is constantly growing and we are always looking to partner with new creative and talented people.
How do you choose the causes?
NU represents Israeli and global humanitarian causes that strive to improve the quality of life for all people, in Israel and worldwide. NU featured causes are non-denominational and a-political and represent consensus values that aim to unite people, across the spectrum . NU also features t-shirts for general stories, personalities, Hebrew language, fun and thematic shirts (with no charity behind the design.)
How much do you donate toward each cause?
For every charity t-shirt sold NU Campaign currently donates 20% of profit to the charitable cause behind the design.
How do I get involved?
The NU brand is made up of the stories and individuals that get involved and we are always looking to work and collaborate with new talented and motivated people. The following are some ways that have proven successful, namely, A. Become an Online Affiliate or Community Rep for NU, by promoting t-shirts and receiving attractive commissions; B. Run an event for a NU featured cause in your school or community; C. Join our creative team and help design a t-shirt; D. Write a featured article for the NU Blog; E. Invite the NU team to give a presentation or workshop at your school or community (details below); F. Help sponsor a t-shirt campaign; G. Do you offer internships?
NU Campaign offers a rewarding and challenging internship at our headquarters in Jerusalem, focusing on marketing, social media, design and retail. How and where are NU t-shirts made?
NU Campaign t-shirts are custom manufactured in Israel , out of 100% Cotton, 170 gram, material, for a soft and comfortable feel. Unisex t-shirts come with a slightly tapered Cotton/Lycra crew-neck neckline and Ladies t-shirts come with an ultra-thin v-neck Cotton neckline for comfort.
How do I choose my size? Will it shrink in the wash?
T-shirts are consistent with European sizes and like most 100% cotton t-shirts, there is a possible first-wash shrinkage of 2 to 3%. The sizes of t-shirts are listed on every product page under “View Size Table” and every t-shirt comes with washing instructions, printed on the back of the size label. We SUGGEST that customers order one size larger then what they normally would wear.
How long does it take for orders to arrive?
Standard shipping for orders in Israel takes 5-10 business days. International orders usually take between 3-5 weeks to arrive, depending on the postal services and customs processing in destination countries. NU Campaign takes no responsibility for delays in shipping due to external (outside Israel) postal services.
How secure is your online store?
This store uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
What forms of payment do you accept?
We gladly accept major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover or direct payments, all through PayPal.
Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. In general, unworn shirts can be exchanged within 15 days of delivery. Please include a copy of the packing slip that was sent with your original purchase. We offer attractive bulk rates for schools, college campuses, communities, organizations, families and others to place orders for events and campaigns. Bulk orders include the full branding features of NU and allows for organizational logos to be placed on existing t-shirt designs. In addition NU Campaign offers a customized design service for those needing their own artwork. Bulk orders are express shipped, which takes between 3-5 business days, delivered to the customer’s door.
NU Campaign offers 3 educational services to incoming student and tourist groups in Israel: 1. A unique Multi-media Presentation focusing on the stories behind NU featured causes and the innovative Israeli humanitarian spirit; 2. A T-shirt Design Workshop allowing groups to brainstorm and customize their own unique t-shirt and 3. An interactive Tour of the charitable causes behind NU featured t-shirts.
