"Made in Israel"

"Made in Israel"- a t-shirt and video campaign by Israel21c and NU Campaign - celebrates Israeli inventions and technologies that are shaping our world today! A considerable amount of research went into this design, which showcases over 50 Israeli inventions (excluding hundreds) and we were blown away by the number of globaly recognizable brands there were. The big ones for us were the cell-phone, laptop computer, Microsoft Windows, Voip and internet Firewall technologies, which have revolutionized the way we live, and companies like icq, AOL, Answers.com, Babylon and Amdocs that were founded in Israel. We were amazed at the 'Drip-Irrigation' system that has made farming in Israel possible (Israel is 60% desert) and now allows farmers in underdeveloped countries to maximize water-supply for agricultural purposes and the invention of Pill-Cam, a camera sized pill which allows doctors to track digestive processes in patients and thus save lives. 'Made in Israel' is a curriculum on Israeli innovation, which goes to show that in Israel, a tiny country no bigger than the State of New Jersey, the greatest natural resource is the human brain!

NU hits Birthright!

Yep! It’s Birthright season! NU Campaign has met with over 1,000 Birthright participants in the last 2 weeks. NU presentations are a combination of story telling, featured causes and multi--media that expose participants to a different narrative of Israel. They focus on the human energy and spirit of Israel, a country, which has over 26,000 non-profit organizations (more than any other country in the world per capita) in the fields of humanities, environment, charity, technology, culture, protection of animals and lots more!
